Trans-Oceanic Speciality Co.

A full house at the Public Hall greeted the combination of artists known as the Trans-Oceanic Speciality Company, on their first appearance in Te Aroha, on Friday last. (/The audience was kept in roars of laughter from start t) finish. Messrs Martinetti and Grossi are an exceedingly clever pair of comedians, both in patter and in quaint musical selections. They extracted music from very novel instruments ; a saddle of a bicycle even became a violin, the handles a flute, the lamp a cornet, and one of the tyres a bugle. Miss Nada jMoret was full of accomplishments ; she gave a very smart and witty takeoff of the hobble-skirt and umbrella hat. Mr E. R. Martin contributed some excellent songs and dances. On their return visit to Te Aroha, to be undertaken at no distant date, the Company can be assured of another hearty welcome.
