The analysis of Stewart Island tin has been made by Dr. Skey. One sample gives 92*4 Per cent of oxide of fcin, and another lot from the last find 87*2. The' best Cornwall tin per centage is about 95, so that the new discovery is a rich one. - ' iNViSRCAKGiLL, February 2. The tin discoveries still excite great interest, but so far little has been done beyond prospecting. Professor Black, while satisfied with the indications, cautions people not to indulge in sharebroking and investing till further tests have been made. Several tin-bearing lodes have been discovered and fresh country is being pegged . off. At present, people appear' to "be watching each other. Now, that tramway and water race is about to be made something definite should be known. Dunedin, February 2. A gentleman has bought'a share in the tin Company for one hundred pounds.
