MINING EXHIBITS.
Mining exhibits from up-country mines have been shipped by the s.s. Kotuku, which has arrived from Paeroa, and has taken in the exhibits from the Thames mines. She leaves here for Auckland this (Saturday) afternoon. The collection is an excellent one, some of the parcels of ore being fairly rich.
Auckland, August 31. Adkline Amalgamated G.M. Co. — A meeting of Diamond, Rose, Adeline, Dubbo, and Josephine shareholders was held yesterday afternoon in the New Zealand Insurance Buildings. — MrE. Bell presided. — The business was to form the various companies into one amalgamated company, to be called the Adeline Amalgamated G.M. Company. It was resolved that this company be formed, and the following were chosen as directors : — Messrs L. Melhose, H. Green, J. Calwell, L. 1). Nathan, E. Bell, and A. Carrick. Mr K. McDonald Scott was appointed Secretary, Mr JL\ A. Menzies auditor, Bank of New Zealand bankers, and Messrs Jackson and Russell solicitors. The rules ol management were adopted, after which the meeting ended, a vote of thanks having been passed to the Chairman.
