Mary Davis was brought up on remand to" clay, charged with the attempted murder of her husband at Mount Pleasant on the 18th inst. The police applied for a remand until Monday next, which was granted, and the accused was admitted to bail, herself in £100 and two sureties of £100 each. Davis is still in the Hospital and is in a very critical state. Symptoms of erysipelas having appeared, it is very doubtful indeed whether he will recover.
