Melbourne, November 22. Last night John Anderson, a Danish shoemaker, attempted to murder a countryman named A. D. Due, a watchmaker, in Carlton. He fired at him three times with a revolver, but every shot missed. The two men had a quarvel some time ago. Anderson appeared at the City Court today, but was remanded. Cooktowx, "November 22.
