' Mr Corbett, Home Ruler, has been elected for Wicklow by a majority of 700 Mr Jas. Russell, Attorney-General, was only elected by a narrow majority. Four Gladstonitea, two Unionists, and one Conservative have been elected for Glasgow Mr JSewbiggen is opposing Lord Hartington for Rossendale. •
LATEST RETURNS. Mr Child ere, Home Secretary, has been elected for South Edinburgh. Mr Goschen has been defeated for East Edinburgh. Mr Morley (Chief Secretary for Ireland) and Mr Craig (Liberal) have been elected for Newcastle- on -Tyne. Messrs Sutherland and Buchanan (Liberals) have been reelected for Greenock and ' West Edinburgh respectively.The return's of completed elections give — 187 Conservatives, 43 Unionists; and 88 I Gladstonites. , ' ' •
