ENGLAND AND THE COLONIES. Honours and Enjoyments of Colonists in London. London, June 29.

The Admiralty will place a vessel at the disposal of the colonists visiting the Exhibition for the purpose of taking a cruise in the English Channel. Her Majesty the Queen has signified her approval of the Hon. W. D. Dalley, Attorney-General of New South Wales, being Bworn in as a Privy Councillor. Sir Samuel Davenport, speaking at Oxford, said the colonists were unable to understand why the Irish people were so anxious for separation. The Hon. A. W. Peel, Speaker of the House of Commons, in a speech to his constituents at Leamington, said the union of the colonies wibh England was an allimportant question. A large party of visitors from the colonies ar© now on a tour through England. On visiting Oxford to-day they were received by the Mayor and the Rev. B. Jowett, Vice-Chancellor" of the University, by whom they were escorted through the principal colleges. The party have now gone to Leamington.
