Death of the Hon. Thomas Henderson. Wellington, June 29.

The Hon. Thomas Henderson, M,L.C, died at the residence of Mr George Graham, ITitzherbet, shortly after midnight yesterday morning. The only member of his family present was his daughter, Mia Von der Heyde. He was eeneible to the last, and seemed perfectly rei-ignod. He mentioned that his will was made, and all his affairs were io order, and one of hia last remarks was, "This is the lust of the circular saw," referring to the device on the flag under which the vessels of his old firm had sailed, He expressed a deeire to be interred in Auckland, near his wife, and tho body will be brought on to Auckland in the Penguin. The Government placed the Hinemoa at the disposal of the family, but Mr T. Henderson, junr., thought it unnecessary to take advantage of the offer.
