WRECKAGE WASHED ASHORE NORJTH OF GISBORNE. APPARENTLY A SCHOONER . The Collector of Customs at Auckland has received the following telegram from the police constable at Te Araroa, a coastal settlement about 100 miles noi’th of Gisborne:—
“Part of wrecked vessel on beach at Te Araroa. Apparently three-mailed wood schooner, 124 ft, keel. Only flooring and part sides left. A few American coins, bale hooks, etc., found. Every indication wrecked recent storm ”
