A NAVY LEAGUE BENEFIT. i
The great Navy League picture "It is for England,' 'is to be screened at the King's Theatre on Thursday evening. This picture fills ten full reels, with 160,000 film pictures, the film being over two miles long. It was made and is shown entirely in aid of tne Navy League Fund. The British Admiralty placed the whole of the Navy at the disposal of the Navy "League's picture producer. The film took two years to make, and it is, without question, the greatest picture ever produced in Britain The leading ladyrole is taken by, perhaps, the world's greatest Red Cross worker, the Baroness Helene Gingold, who received from the King of Serbia the highest decoration within his power to bestow. Aside from the proceeds Being in aid of the Navy League, this picture is one of the world's very best productions. No picture has received such flattering press notices, for in addition to its super-magnifi-cence it is historic, inspirational, something that discloses the colossal nature of the, defence a modern emß' pire needs to ensure its very exis*. tnce. "It is for England" is being screened to. raise funds for the most deserving of all patriotic funds, the Navy League. Let us not forget the men who are watching the seas day and night, in storm and calm, year in and year out, in dangers often of mines, submarines, and surprise attack from the enemy.
