ELECTORAL 'BOUNDARIES.
A RANGITIKEI CONTEST. MARTON, Oct 29. The Rangitikei County Council resolved that the Council objects to the proposed new electoral boundaries of Rangitikei on the following grounds: t (1) That the portion included of the Wanganui borough and suburban area on the left bank of the V. anganui River has no community of interest with the remainder ,cf the proposed electorate, which is essentially a country constituency, and should, therefore be excluded. (2) That the Ridings of Otairi and Rangatira and the southern portion of the Ridings of the Rangitikei County are more closely associated with tiic adjoining Ridings of the country than with the Oroua, and consequently should be included. The Council suggest, therefore, that the Rangitikei River, which bounds the county on the eastern side, is also the natural boundary for the electorate
