WHO IS THIS GREAT NECKELSON?
A patriotic Frenchman who has done his bit and would be in the trenches now were it not that an accident during the “great manoeuvres” around Verdun some time before the opening of the war obliged him to accept his discharge from the French army. He then set upon a world-tour and is doing “his bit” in a different way Being a professor of research at tne Academy of Paris, his specialty being the study of occultism and allied sciences, he now demonstrates by touring the world. Incidentally, he helps charitable works whenever opportunity offers or allows. He has helped the French Red Cross, gave a special entertainment in the largest obtainable hall for the benefit of “Allies Day” in Sydney. He received a flattering letter with the thanks of the chairman of the New Zealand Patriotic Society for “his kindness in assisting at the Wellington Town Hall, entertaining the returned soldiers on first Anzac Day celebrations.” He visits public and private hospitals as time permits, delighting the inmates by his smart and clever performances.
Neckelson must not be rnked with the ordinary comedian or showmam. He stands out on his own as a Master of Minds, a Master Illusionist. His work is dexterous, clever, and above reproach. The most refined people will be delighted as well as enthralled at his amazing powers. No one should mis s this unique entertainment.
