ENTERTAINMENTS.

KING’S THEATRE. To-night’s change will be one of those “Mary Pickford’s” special star productions, entitled “The Eagle’s Mate.” This is a sister picture of “Tess of the Storm,” and the present one ig as good, if not bet;er. The subject deals with wild mountain life, and is a gorgeous setting, the film is along one, being 6000 feet, and the screening will commence each evening at 8.30.

- THREE STARS THEATRE. ‘‘London by Day and Night,” which is considered one of the finest scenic pictures on the .New Zealand Circuit, will be shown to-night at the above theatre. The picture is faithfully .produced, showing all the glamour which hovers round the lights of London. There is also some local interest in the picture as it shows the Bank of New Zealand, New Zealand Government Office, Mr Mackenzie, New Zealand Aeroplane, Sir. Joseph Ward, and hundreds of other interesting and educational subjects. The picture from an educational point of view should not be missed. It will only be shown two nights, to-night and to-morrow night. A good War Budget, showing a Dreadnought firing a broadside, and a Keystone, featuring Fatty and Mable Normand will also be screened.
