In consequence of renewal work on the tramway track at the Bank of New Zealand corner, tram traffic through Cathedral Square will be suspended from Sunday morning until the completion of the work. This necessitates the alteration of starting places for cars. Sumner and Wooiston cars will leave from Hereford Street, New Brighton Cars from the uurnsr of High and Cas\>'l Btreet3, south-bound cars will leave Cashel Street and north-bound ears from the Square. The North Beach cars will leave from the usual starting point, but will travel out via Worcester Street. Vehicular traffic is requested not to use the entrance to the Square at the bank, corner from Saturday afternoon until the work is completed, probably on Tuesday morning.
