Zohrnb died yesterday at Heretaunga, as the result of burns through her dress catching fire from the ilame of a candle ■which she was carrying; A nine-year-old girl. Myrtle Bessie Line, who resides with her parents at 52 Simeon Street, Spreydon, was admitted to the Christehnreh Hospital yesterday suffering from burns receive! when lifting a saucepan off a range. Roy Ilickinotl, chemist, Baugiora, was riding a motor-cycle near the Cam bridge, Kaiapoi. yesterday, when he swerved fharply to avoid a lorry. The side-chair jammed against him, with the result that he sustained a compound fracture of the leg.
