ENGINEERS AT WORK. BOILERMAKERS "DOWN TOOLS." (Rce. Sept. 0, 10.30) SYDNEY, Sept. 8. The majority of the engineers at Cockatoo and Garden Islands, and at Mort's Dock, continued to work on Saturday, but the boilermakers "downed tools." Further developments are expected to-day, when the ironworkers will be requested to sign an agreement tor 48 hours a week. NO OVERTIME ON WHARVES. HOURS OF COAL-TRIMMERS, (Roe.
