TRINITY CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH.
The monthly meeting of Trinity Congregational Church was held on Wednesday evening, Mr G. E. Franklin occupying the chair. Mr C. H. Brysnt (treasurer) presented the financial statement for the month, which was approved. The report of the pence fund showed a small balance. Mr H. Sturgo was elected to represent Trinity Church on the District Committee, in place of Mr J. Hayes, resigned. Mr F. Woodham, honorary secretary of the pence fund, who is leaving Christchurch, tendered his resignation, and Mr Reg. Woodham was elected to fill the vacancy. The secretary, Mr W. Wilkinson, reported that it was expected that the Rev. Hulfadine would leave Home for the Dominion on September 9. Mr Win. Congrevc gave a report on the action taken in connection with the purchase of the manse property in Hollv Road. He also gave a further outline of the scheme to carry out a number of urgent repairs to the church and church parlour After a short discussion it was decided to adjourn the question till the- following week.
