The following team has been selected by Messrs VY. R. Patrick (Canterbury), \V. A. Dee (Nelson), and J. Hogg (Otago), to represent the South Island in the inter-island hockey match, to be played in Wellington next Saturday:— Goal, H. Snooks (Canterbury), right back, C. Harris (Nelson), left back, P. Berrv (Canterbury), right half, W. Ryburn (Otago), centre half, B. Morris (Canterbury), left half, S. Mander (Canterbury), right wingforward, H. R. Turbett (Otago), right insideforward, VV. Amos (Nelson), centre forward, H. Bell (Canterbury), left Inside-for-ward, W. Bell (Canterbury), left outsideforward, H. Throp (Canterbury); Emergency, ft. Sheriffs (Canterbury).
