CURATOR APPOINTED, Pre** Association. . NELSON, January 1.1. Mr W. C. Davies, headmaster-elect of the Blenheim School, and at present headmaster of the Greytown District High School, has been appointed curator of the Cawthron Institute of Scientific Research. On the suggestion of the director, Professor Easterfield, the Cawthron Institute trustees have decided to send samples of New Zealand forest materials to experts in Canada for reports as to their suitability for paper manufacture.
