BUSINESS ON 'CHANGE.

VALUES KEEP STEADY. There was little change in values on 'Change to-day. Buyers' quotations had risen from 40/- to 50/- for HuddartParkers. To-day, however, sellers quote 50/-, without buyers, and, in Auckland, buyers oiler 40/-, with sellers quoting 10/9. These shares arc therefore somewhat weaker. A keen demand exists for N.Z. Refrigerating, the tone being linn. Buyers offer 13/0 and 23/9, and sellers want 'll/0 and 24/3 for the fully paid, and 10/- paid issue respectively. Another movement has occurred in Christchurch Gas, an advance of 1/- being recorded. A sale of N.Z. Sugar of Milks is reported at the Arm price of 42/-. The mining market is unchanged.
