LATE COMMERCIAL.

LICENSES NECESSARY FOR EXPORTS. The export from the Dominion has been prohibited, save with the consent of the Minister of Customs, of sheep, cattle, pigs and many kinds of raw produce, minerals and manufactured articles. Produce thus affected includes butter, cheese, rennet, potatoes, meats of all descriptions save poultry, hides, sheep and calf skins, pelts, wheat, oats and other cereals and their manufactured preparations, wool and wattle hark. Amongst manufactured articles are jute, hessian and cotton goods, glue and gelatine and raw materials used in their manufacture, leathers, scrap-iron and scrapsteel. Coal, tungsten ores and alloys, platinum ore, platinum and platinum scrap are included. In addition the restrictions apply lo the export of Russian rouble rates.
