HIGH SCHOOL EVENTS. Several swimming events were conducted in tlie Christchurch Boys' High School baths yesterday. Results:— j SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP. C. E. Low 1 | A. Orchard 2 i J. Orchard .. .. 3 Won easily. Time, 08 4-ssec—a school j record. , ' Old Boys v. Present Boys.—Old Boys (Chrystall, McNeeley, Harris, Crosbic, Hollander) 1, Present Boys (Montgomery, J. Orchard, A. Orchard, R. Milnes, and C. E. Low) 2. Won by a yard in good time. Neat Dive.—Petre 1, J, Orchard 2, A. Orchard 3. / After the events the Old Boys' team gave exhibitions of the crawl, trudgeon, breast, and back strokes. . There was a large attendance, the bath being crowded with pupils, old boys, and other spectators.
