PARTY FUNDS.
SCANDAL IN GERMANY. Australian and N.Z. Gable Association. (Bee. March 5, 11.20) AMSTERDAM, Mar.!. A sensation has been caused in Germany. During the debate on the k Army Bill at Weimar, Deputy Colin confessed that when Herr Wolf left Berlin he transferred to Cohn £1,000,000 nominally to assist Bussian civilians. He also gave Cohn control of 15,500,000 roubles (over £1,550,000) at Mendelssohn's Bank, Berlin. Herr Cohn said that be regarded the money as party funds, and used it to subsidise party newspapers.
