GERMAN COLONIES.

DEMAND FOR RETURN. (Reuter) BERNE, March 2. The German National Assembly at Weimar adopted a resolution protesting against the conference proposals for the disposal of the German colonies, on the ground that they are incompatible with President Wilson's fifth point, and demanding the return of the colonies. The Independents alone did not participate in the protest. [President Wilson's fifth Peace Point was as follows:—The free, open-minded, and absolutely impartial adjustment of all colonial claims, based upon the. strict observance of the principle that, in determining all such questions of sovereignty, the interests of the populations concerned must have equal weight with the equitable claims of the Government whose title is to be determined.!
