[Admiral Sir Alfred Paget, K.C.8., K.C.M.G., D.5.0., was born In J852. He entered the Navy in 1805, and rose to the rank of captain in 1801), Rear-Admiral 100G, and Vice-Admiral 1011. He was Senior Officer, Coast of Ireland 1008-11. Admiral Paget served in the Egyptian War 1882, the Eastern Soudan 1884-85, Suakim 1888. He was Naval Attache to Paris, Petrograd, and Washington 1800-00, and China 1000-I.]
