APARIMA’S SURVIVORS.
RETURN TO NEW ZEALAND. Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 12. Some of the survivors of the Aparima, which was sunk in the English Channel in November last, have returned to Auckland. The party consists of eight officers, six seamen, and 12 cadets. The officers are:—W. B. Hirst, second engineer; K. A. Gunn, third; H. IF. Barr, fourth; N. S. Fleming, fifth; ,J. J. McKeegan, sixth; A. M. Mayo, seventh; G. it. Cooper, third officer; A. F. Yipan, wireless operator. The cadets are: —T. E. Bevan, .1. Adams, W. Millward, N. IT. Anuandale, W. Scantlebury, E. Sutherland, A. Denholm, .1. Every Clayton, J. Murray, T. H. Davis, W. Shakespeare, and D. Williams.
The soamon arc:—A. Johnston, boatswain; A. Dwyer, L. McKinnon, V. Fox, A. Mclntyre, and E. Elder, A.B.’s. These are all the Europeans saved except the commander, Captain Gerald Doorley, out of 32 officers and men and 30 cadets.
