THE Y.M.C.A. APPEAL.
To the Editor of THE &VS. Sir, —But two more days remain to complete this fund. We are much indebted to The Shn* for the prominence given in its columns to the organisation and collection, which has helped the fund tremendously. We all admire and are grateful to the donors of the large amounts subscribed, especially to the most generous giver of the subscription which heads the list. But some have disappointed us. It is difficult to estimate what one should give; prudence must have its weight. I would specially appeal to all those who have overlooked the fund, or have put it ou one side for any other reason than absolute inability. Let us all put aside any feeling of sectarian jealousy, and unite as one people in helping the splendid work of the Y.M.C.A. for our soldiers. —I am, etc., A WILLING HELPER.
