I "Billiards" (owe 20) was very one-sided, Marquel appearing unable to settle down to his usual game. "Billiards" was very consistent, and made breaks of 27, 28, if) l.'i 13, and 28 unfinished, and scored his 250 points when Marquel'* score was only l.'i". Marquct's best breaks were 21 and 17. The game ('.. Exlon (owe 50) v. S. Branch i see) was very evenly contested, and Exton, with his big handicap, had :i somewhat didicult tiisk to beat his opponent, and just managed to run to his 2:W points when Branch was 228. Ex ton's besl breaks were IS, Hi, 14. 13, and several oT 12. Branch's best breaks were 20, 14. and 12.
