A Russian oilicial communique states:—ln the northern sector we made gas attacks south-east of Tukum and eastward of the Milau road. In Armenia we repelled an attempted Turkish offensive on the Sivas road. As' a result of the fighting in the Hamadan region, in Western Persia, we occupied Sakhne, and pursued the enemy, after a stubborn resistance, towards Bisutun.
