EFFICIENCY BOARD.

MEETING- AT GEEALDINE

Mr E. P. Burbury, who is the principal expert for primary industries in connection with the Efficiency Board's operations in Canterbury, yesterday afternoon addressed a large and representative meeting of fanners at. Geraldine. He placed before the meeting the programme that had been drawn .up as to the management of soldiers' farms and other matters which come within the board's scope of operations.

The farmers of the Geraldine County had, at a previous meeting, drawn up a series of suggestions which in the meantime had been placed before the Canterbury Commissioner (Mr J. A. Frostick). These had been considered and amended by Mr Frostick, and they were passed yesterday afternoon, on behalf of the farmers of Geraldine Countv, without alteration.
