A charge of perjury, arising out. of proceedings in n civil fiction heard recently at the Magistrate's Court, was preferred against Thomas Richard •lobns at the Magistrate's Court to-day, when Messrs K. Alathioson and 11. A. Bruce, J. !''s, presided. Mr M. Donnelly represented the accused. The accused pleaded guilty ami was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed in a surety of 150.
