THE GREEK CRISIS.
SEIZURE OF ARMS. ALLIES SEND. ULTIMATUM. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. ATHENS, November 25. Admiral Du Fournet is delivering an ultimatum before resorting to measures lo enforce tbc surrender of war material. The "Daily Chronicle's" Athens correspondent slates that Admiral Du Fournet has sent a letter to the Premier demanding ten batteries of mountain guns by December 1. The rest of the material is required by December 15. The letter emphasises the point that her recent refusal to hand over this material docs not accord with Greece's profession of benevolent neutrality, and contrasts, the present circumstances with those under which the Bylgarians—towards whom Greece only professes neutrality pure and simple—seized material and troops at Kavalla, concerning which Greece's protest was inadequate compensation for the Entente. The letter further points out that the delivery of the material now claimed cannot offend either legitimate patriotism or international equity as the arms are destined to be used in the deliverance of soil which has been watered by the most generous Hellenic blood. Their place is not in arsenals, but in Monastir and Macedonia, where the fate of all the Balkan Slates is being settled. WAR ON BULGARIA. DECLARED BY NATIONAL GOVERNMENT. Rcute.r's Telearams. ATHENS, November 2G. The Provisional Government, which the Allies regard as a de facto Government, recognising that Greece is virtually in a state of war with Bulgaria, has declared war on Bulgaria. The Venizelisls have also declared war on Germany, because she has torpedoed ships carrying Nationalist forces. REASON FOR ACTION. TO GIVE TROOPS STATUS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received November 27, 8.45 a.m.) ATHENS, November 26. The Ycnizelos Government declared war on Bulgaria to prevent the enemy treating the Greek forces co-peraling with the Allies as francstireurs. POSITION AT~ EKATERINI. ROYALISTS MUST QUIT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SALONTCA, November 25. The Royalists refuse to evacuate Ekaterini, on the western shore of the Gulf of Salonica, and General Sarrail has warned the Government that unless the evacuation is carried out immediately he will use force.
