IN MACEDONIA.
GERMAN REINFORCEMENTS. FAIL TO STOP ADVANCE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November 24. The "Daily Telegraph's" Athens correspondent says that large German reinforcements assisted a determined Bulgarian attack from Budimilizi against the Serbian centre, threatening to recapture the Kajamackalan heights. The Serbians, however, continued their offensive, and occupied Budimitizi, taking prisoner 500 men. Fighting continues on the heights four miles northward of Monastir, as the Germans and Bulgarians are determinedly resisting the advance to Prilep. French reinforcements have arrived in Southern Macedonia. ITALIANS IN ALBANIA. REPULSE FREEBOOTERS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. MILAN, November 25. Albanian freebooters actively attacked the Italians in North Epirus, but the Italians were stronger than they had anticipated and, being well equipped with artillery, foiled the attempt to prevent the Italian force from co-operating with the Monastir advance. The Italians have now completed the linking up of Valona with the Cerna sector. Fine roads have been constructed with the co-operation of the South Albanians. -
