AIMS OF AUSTRIA. IMPERIAL PROCLAMATION. Reuter's Telegrams. (Received November 24, 2.25 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, November 23. The Austrian Emperor issued a proclamation on ascending the Throne. lie said:— The war will last some Our aim has not yet been reached, and the illusion of our enemies that they can overthrow my monarchy and my Allies has not yet been dissipated. I will do all in my power to obtain peace as soon as honour in arms, the conditions of life of my countries and their Allies, and the defiance of our enemies, will allow.
