CARGO BROACHING.
Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 24. Evidence of widespread cargo-pillag-ing has been discovered on the steamer Opawa, which arrived from Liverpool, via Sydney yesterday. Customs searchers found broken cases in. the holds and elsewhere, and "plants" of pillaged cargo indicate an alarming amount of broaching. Two seamen have been arrested, and charged with pillaging.
