(Received November 18, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 18. In the House of Assembly, the Opposition stonewalled the Premier's motion to suspend the Standing Orders in order to permit the introduction of a Bill prolonging the life of Parliament for 12 months. A heated debate ensued. After a division, the suspension of the Standing Orders was carried, and the Bill was introduced and taken in Committee.
