ADDINGTON MARKET.

THE CONCLUSION. The weather cleared up for the conclusion of the stock sale at the Addington Metropolitan Market yesterday, and selling was concluded at about 5 o'clock. VAT SHEEP. The yarding of fat sheep was slightly larger than that of a fortnight ago, and the quality was well up to the average. The market was very erratic throughout, at times varying to !/- or 1/6 below that of the previous sale. Included in the entry were some very fine woolly wethers sent from the south. They wore Romney cross and Bonier Leicester cross sheep, and were certainly a very fine. line. The market was (lull, and only one or two pens out of about eight or 10 were sold, those realising 48/-. Some of the sheep were passed at as high as 44/- each. The following was the range of prices:— Woolly wethers 36/- to 18/-.

Prime shorn wethers 29/- to 37/9. Lighter shorn wethers 24/10 to 28/6. Prime shorn merino wethers 32/6 to :i4/-. Shorn hoggets 23/3 to 84/-. Woolly ewes 30/- to 33/-. Prime shorn ewes 27/- to 33/-. BURNSIDE SALE. Press Association. DUNEDIN, November 15. At Burnside to-day 2-40 fat cattle were yarded, principally of good quality. The entry exceeded requirements, and prices declined about £1 per head. Best bullocks made £lB to £2O, extra prime £22 12/6, good £l6 to £l7 10/-, others £l4 10/-, best cows and heifers £l2 10/to £l3 10/-, extra prime £l6 17/6, medium £ll to £l2. Sheep.—2ooo wore penned. The quality was fair, and under good competition prices advanced 1/- to 1/6. Extra prime woolly wethers made 50/(5, medium to good 42/- to 46/-, others 34/- to 38/-, extra prime shorn wethers 35/3, medium to good 30/- to 33/6, others 25/6 to 29/-, good ewes 34/- to 37/-, extra prime 43/6, light 25/- to 28/-. Lambs.—There was a small yarding, and prices were about equal to last week's. Best made 31/-, good 25/- to 27/-, others 20/- and upwards. Pigs.—There was a large yarding of fats, and a medium entry of stores. The latter were in keen demand, and prices were firm. Fats declined 5/- to 10/from the exceptionally high rates ruling lately.
