GUNBOATS GIVE ASSISTANCE. BOMBARD THE ENEMY FLANK NEAR RASSOVA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received October 5, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 4. A Petrograd communique says that stubborn battles continue about Chelvov and Korytnitza. The enemy stubbornly holds his positions. On the river Ceniuvka Russian gunboats bombarded the Bulgarian left flank, near Rassova. Our offensive in the region of Rassova, Kabaden, and Egervele continues.
