LONDON, October 4 (12.50 a.m.) A communique says:—Following upon several victorious combats by the Serbians in the region of Kajmakalan, the Bulgarians abandoned their positions on the Starkovgres River at Brod, and appear to be retreating northwards. The Serbians have occupied Sovio and the French Petorac and Verbini. On the right wing the British have captured Janikosi, east of the Struma.
