LYTTELTON. The following is the list of articles sent to the Christehureh Depot by the Lyttelton Red Cross branch during September: —19 sets pyjamas, 25 vests, 7 underpants, 16 pairs socks, 13 scarves, 31 dozen handkerchiefs, 21 face cloths 3 bundles knitted face cloths, 6 treasure bags, 8 limb cushion covers, 31 pyjama girdles, 2 bundles linen, 2 balaclavas, 4 pairs mittens, 44 pillow cases, 1 pair bed socks, 2 boxes bandages, 30 pairs socks, 19 sets pyjamas, 27 vests, 21 bed coats, 12 pairs underpants, 16A dozen handkerchiefs, 13 dozen pillow cases, 45 face cloths, 4 scarves, p bundles pyjama girdles, 1 day shirt, 1. balaclava, 2 bottle covers, 1 dozen limb cushion covers, 1 treasure bag, 4 binders. Donations have been received from the following:—Men's Bandage Brigade, Mrs Sterling, Mrs Dyer, Mrs J. T. Norton, Mrs Sutton, Mrs F. Norton. Mrs J. W. Smith, Mrs Buckley, Mrs Hildyard. The following ladies have also undertaken needlework:—Mesdames Sterling, Jackson, W. Taylor, Blaekstoek, Dyer, Newton, Bowman. Reedman, J. Page, Sutton, Whitbv, Owen, Irwin, 11. Davis, Ealem, J. Payne, T. Whitford, Green, Piteaithly, W. Brown, M. S. Brown, F. Norton, Arnold, Wearne, Stenson, Gorst, Hunter, F. Anderson, Hewland, Toomey, Carter, Misses Bundy, Mahar, Walker, Westal, Lewis, Boss, also the Ladies' Sewing Guild, Lyttelton District High School, and West Lyttelton School.
