BULGARS FLY BEFORE THE BAYONET.
ATTACKS ON STRUMA POSITION REPULSED ROYAI. FLYING CORPS BOMB ENEMY TRANSPORT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received October 4, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, October 3. The War Office, reporting from Salonica, states:—The Bulgarians on Monday counter-attacked, sending three battalions against our new positions on the east bank of the Struma. Our fire broke the attack. One of our battalions then charged with the bayonet, and completely routed the enemy. The Royal Flying Corps successfully bombed troops, a transport column at Prosenik. and a railway train between Proseuik and Seres.
