AMATEUR BILLIARDS CHAMPIONSHIP. The fourth round of the Alcock crystalate amateur billiards championship of Christchurch was played last night. Play in all the games was of a poor order, with the exception of the Martin v. Williams game, in which Martin made a break of 65. Following are the complete results:—Martin 300 v. Williams 213, Behrens 300 v. Ward 225, Barritt 300 v. Grey 187, Waller 300 v. Shaw 185. Bickerdike 300 v. Clarke 103. The fifth and sixth rounds will be played next week as follows: Fifth round, Monday, August 21, at 7.45 p.m.: Barritt v. Martin, Post and Telegraph Club; Bickerdike v. Grey, Richmond Working Men's Club; Behrens v. Clarke, Christchurch Working Men's Club; Shaw v. Williams, Pioneer Club; Waller v. Ward, Police Social Club.
