HAREWOOD SCHOOL.

» The annual picnic of the Harewood School was lickl at Island Farm. It was well at tended by both parents ami scholars, and an enjoyable day was'spent. During the afternoon prizes were distributed to all scholars, and special prizes as follow: -Pre sentcd by Mrs C. Palmer for neatest sewing: Flossie Dawber. Presented by Mrs Shipley for best kept garden: Mabel Knipc ami Elsie Ilowson. Presented by Mr Gilbert for best garden: Ralph Moore and Stanley Hockey. Attendance prizes given by Messrs E. Recce, and Sons were won by Mabel Knipe, Elsie Howson, I-a lira Coppin, Frank Knipe, Albert Dixon, Albert Browne, Stanley Browne, Richard Knipe, and George Cameron. Dux medals were won by Mabel Knipe (presented by Mr E. S. Skilton) and Clarence Durey. Numerous races were run for all, the j Married Women's Race being won by Mrs [jcal, with Mrs Iloldeni second.
