NEW ZEALAND FORCES. LIST ISSUED THIS AFTERNOON. The following casually list was issued this afternoon:— Admitted to Pont de Koubbeh Hospital, Cairo:— Canterbury Mounted Rifles— Lance-Corporal 0. Mathias, Sergeant F. B. Wright, Trooper J. Miles. Canterbury Battalion—Private C. W. Sigglekow, Private A. Stark. McDonnell. any harm, a diet of beer is simply poison to a man who has been suffering from abdominal troubles. It is a very great pity that some of these men do not play the game. Many of their comrades have already recovered and sailed again for the front, while many others are rapidly approaching a slate of fitness, while these fellows are seen ruining their constitutions and must ultimately become a burden on Ihe Stale. They are simply spoiling their own chances and those of far better fellows, for the time is coming when Ihe restrictions placed on undischarged sick soldiers will be far more drastic than they are to-day. An indication of that you could see in the fact that only four out of the whole complement or the Willochra, which arrived on Saturday, were given leave. That is because men who have previously been given leave have abused their privileges. II is a pity that a few rotters should cause so many decent young fellows Io be penalised; but there it is!"
