ACTIVITY AT JERUSALEM. GERMANS CARRY OUT IMPORTANT WORKS. ''Times" and "Sydney Sun" (Received .January 4, 8 a.m.) CAIRO, January 3. There is intense military activity at Jerusalem prior to the march on Egypt, and German officers are carrying out important engineering works, roads, and railways. Italian Jews have been ordered to abandon their nationality or to quit the city, and the majority are leaving in American vessels for Italy.
