Two more victims of enemy submarines are reported to-day—a Japanese and a British steamer. Fierce artillery actions are raging on the western front. The Allies' success has been almost universal, except for a retirement by the French at one particular spot. The" enemy is said to be displaying great activity at Jerusalem, prior to the projected invasion of Egypt. An enemy report announces artillery activity at Gallipoli; also that in minor engagements on the eastern front the Russians have been unsuccessful.
