RUSSIANS DISLODGE REBELS.

SUCCESS AFTER NIGHT MARCH.

PETROGRAD, December 24,

An official communique says: "We dislodged the rebels from Arrarik, north-west of Hamadan, and occupied the Assadabad Pass, to the southward of Hamadan. "We stormed the village of Saveh, near Ivum, dispersing the rebels and (500 gendarmes. "Our troops, after a night march, fell upon and dispersed 2700 gendarmes and tribesmen at Rabatkerim, 25 miles south-west of Teheran, sabring 120 of the enemy."

[The Assadabad Pass is a few miles south-west of Hamadan, close to the small town of Assadabad. Saveh is on the main road from Hamadan to Teheran, and is about 40 miles north-west of Kum.]
