AN OTAGO PIONEER.

DUNEDIN, December 27.

Andrew McKerrow, a pioneer settler in the Hampden district, died suddenly on Saturday. He was for many years, and up to the time of his death, a member of the Education Board, and was also a member of the Land Board, retiring from the latter on his appointment as chief land valuer for the Otago district. He was a staunch friend and supporter of Sir John McKenzie.
