A semi-official report states that the German cruiser Frauenlob, of 2657 tons, has been sunk by a submarine. The Frauonlob was completed at Bremen in 3004 at a cost of £254,500. Slic carried 10 4.1 in. guns and 14 machine guns, and was fitte'd with two submerged torpedo tubes. Her complement of officers and men was 281, and .she Avas c:ip;ible of developing a speed of 21 knots.
