SERBIANS INFLICT ENORMOUS LOSSES. GERMAN DIVISION CUT UP BY FLANKING FIRE. (Received October 23, 10 a.m.) BUCHAREST, October 22. The Serbians, by a splendid counter-attack to the southward of inflicted 8000 casualties on the enemy. The Germans fell back near Semendria before a violent Serbian onslaught. . . . A German division to the northward of Belgrade, marching towards Leskovatz, was caught on the flank by Serbian artillery, losing one-third of its effectives. The Austro-German advance, nevertheless, continues. '"
